PURPOSE:To prevent the peripheral environment of a developing device and a worker from the pollution due to the developer, and to decrease the supplying work by forming the opening part, at the upper part of the developing device, in which a part of a cartridge can insert while the horizontal condition is kept, and fitting the cartridge from the upper direction. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge 19, which loads a developer 2 in the internal part and is closed tightly by a seal cover 25, is inserted and fitted between respective elastic supporting bodies 16 and 16 in a developing device 12 by holding a blade 21 with both hands so that the pouring port 20 can be located in the upward direction. Simultaneously, a pin 24 is inserted into a circular arc-shaped groove 23 of the cartridge, and the turning of the cartridge is limited so that the turning can be executed in one direction only. Namely, when the elastic supporting body 16 is inserted into a fixing hole 22, the cartridge 19 is rotataby and elastically supported by the elastic force to occur between respective elastic supporting bodies at an opening part 20 of the developing device 12, and since the seal cover 25 of the cartridge 19 is at the upper position, the worker can easily tear off the seal cover 25 and the developer 2 in the cartridge will not disperse to the external part. |
