ELECTRONIC PARTS INSTALLING DEVICE INTO METAL MOLD IN INJECTION MOLDING AND MOLD THEREOF

PURPOSE:To make the installation of an electronic part to the metal mold easy and accurate and to get the uniformity of the sealed resin layer, by forming both guide pins piercing through the pinlike terminals of electronic components in series and putting the terminals onto the metal mold and a catching groove fixing an arrangement plate. CONSTITUTION:A pinlike terminal 2 of an electronic part is put into a piercing hole 5 of a flat arrangement plate 4, which is put on a position-fixing plate 7. The leg part 2' of the pinlike terminal 2 is contacted with the step part formed between the surfaces B and C to fix the position of the arrangement plate 4 and to arrange the legs 2'. The arrangement plate 4 is then installed in a catching groove 17 formed in a bottom force 13. The pinlike terminal 2 is put in between guide pins 14, 14 and the lower half is inserted in a spot facing 21. The top force 15 is set on the bottom force 13 and the upper surface of the arrangement plate 4 and the upper half of the pinlike terminal 2 are put into a groove of escape 18 and the spot facing 21 of the top force 15 respectively. Injection molding is then carried out by injecting a molten resin from the injection molding machine and both the electronic part and the arrangement plate 4 sealed with the resin are taken out after cooling for a specified period.
