PURPOSE:To create comfortable air conditioning free from any draft feeling by provid ing a front surface blow-off port provided with an auxiliary vane having a substantially horizontal mounting angle, a lower surface blow-off port provided with an auxiliary vane having a specific mounting angle, and a movable vane capable of closing the front surface blow-off port and the lower surface blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:A front surface blow-off port 14 has an auxiliary vane 15 having a substantially horizontal mounting angle, and a lower surface blow-off port 16 has an auxiliary vane 17 having a mounting angle of 60-80 deg.. Indoor air sucked up through a suction port 6 by means of a blower 4 is introduced into a heat exchanger 5 wherein air which has been cooled or heated is blown into the room through the front surface blow off port 14 or the lower surface blow-off port 16. The air flow which has passed the lower part of the heat exchanger 5 has a downward angle along a lower guide surface 19 and at the same time, is blown off along the angle of the auxiliary vane 17 of the lower surface blow-off port 16 regardless of the position of a movable vane 21. Consequently, by changing the angle of the movable vane, it is made possible to change the downward air flow ratio to 0-100%, and hence the downward angle becomes substantially constant in the whole area.
