PURPOSE:To increase the catalytic effect between an air flow and a main plate to improve the heat exchange efficiency by forming corrugated portions on the main plate in a substantially concentric shape, putting an air stream flowing along both surfaces of the main plate into a turbulent flow state and agitating the same. CONSTITUTION:The casing 9 of the heat-exchange type blower 10 is disposed in an outer box 1 in a state of confronting the rear surface of a drum 6, and a main plate 11 disposed within the casing 9 is rotatably supported on a shaft 8 through a boss portion 12. The main plate 11 divides the interior of the casing 9 into a front exhaust air inlet chamber 13 and a rear external air inlet chamber 14. In the main plate 11 is concentrically formed a corrugated portion 15 at its substantially entire region, and on both surfaces of the main plate 11 are radially projected blade pieces 16 and 17. Accordingly, by the centrifugal blowing operation of the blade pieces 16 and 17 an air stream flowing along both surfaces of the main plate 11 in its diametral direction flows in a manner of intercrossing the corrugated portions. Thus, by the synergistic effect of the turbulent flow of the air stream due to the corrugated portions 15 and enlargement of the heat exchange efficiency is positively improved.
