PURPOSE:A prepreg, obtained by impregnating heat-resistant fibers with a polysiloxane polymer, and firing the impregnated heat-resistant fibers at a specific temperature for a proper time to decompose a proper amount of bonds between silicon-alkyl group or silicon-phenyl group, without deteriorating adhesive properties even after use at high temperatures for a long period. CONSTITUTION:A borosiloxane polymer, which is a high polymer containing silicon, oxygen and boron as main skeleton, preferably a polymer obtained by polycondensing a silicone oil, e.g. dimethyl silicone oil, with hydroxysilane, e.g. diphenyldihydroxysilane, and boric acid compound, is dissolved in xylene, and impregnated into heat-resistant fibers, and the resultant impregnated heat- resistant fibers are fired at 200-300 deg.C for a proper time within the range II shown in the figure to decompose a proper amount of bonds between silicon- alkyl group or silicon-phenyl group in the borosiloxane polymer and give the aimed prepred.
