PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-developable color photosensitive material capable of rapidly forming a color image by incorporating a specified naphthol type electron donor in combination with a compd. for releasing a dye upon reduction, together with photosensitive silver halide and a binder. CONSTITUTION:A heat-developable color photosensitive material high in sensitivity and capable of rapidly forming a superior color image can be obtained by incorporating the photosensitive silver halide and a binder and a combination of the diffusion resistant dye donor represented by formula II capable of releasing a mobile dye upon being reduced by the dye donor, and this electron donor represented by formula I in which X is -CO- or -SO2-; R<1> is optionally substd. alkyl or such aryl, OH, -OR<2>, or a precursor group capable of being decomposed by heat development and forming OH or its salt; R<3>, R<4> are each H, optionally substd. alkyl, such aryl, such carbamoyl, or such sulfamoyl, halogen, acyl, or OR<5>, each independent of each other; and R<5> is alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl. |
