PURPOSE:To allow the center of a polygonal mirror and that of a pedestal to coincide with each other by an easy method to improve the capacity by extending outward columnar bodies of the attaching pedestal consisting of a shape memory allow and memorizing their shapes in this state and subjecting them to reverse deformation and restoring shapes after the polygonal mirror is attached to the pedestal. CONSTITUTION:Plural columnar bodies 52 erected on a polygonal mirror attaching pedestal 50 have such dimensions that their outside peripheral surfaces are brought into contact with the inside peripheral surface of an attaching hole 2 of a rotating polygonal mirror 1. Columnar bodies 52 are extended outward at a high temperature and the shape memory alloy constituting the pedestal is allowed to memorize their shapes in this state, and columnar bodies are deformed reversely at a low temperature and are inserted to the attaching hole 2, and the state is switched to the high- temperature state again; and then, shapes are restored to bring columnar bodies 52 into contact with the inside peripheral surface of the hole 2 without space, and the center of the polygonal mirror coincides with that of the pedestal, and claw parts 53 of columnar bodies retain the upper face of the polygonal mirror to fix it surely. Thus, they are aligned to simplify the assembling work, and the quality is improved. |
