PURPOSE:To prevent vibration, by arranging an arm in the exciting direction of an ultrasonic condensing lens in an almost U-shape. CONSTITUTION:The arm 8 holding an ultrasonic microscope system 15 and an optical microscope system 16 is arranged in an arch shape from both left and right sides with respect to a stage 14 to enable not only the mounting of a relatively large specimen onto the stage 14 but also the display of an ultrasonic image while various experiments are performed. The U-shape arm 8 is arranged and fixed in an arch form in an X-direction being the exciting direction of an ultrasonic condensing lens 23 and supported in a double support state to make it possible to prevent the resonance of the arm 8. The stage 14 is provided to the surface plate 7 set to a horizontal surface through four point vibration damping rubbers 6... so as to closely contact the side surface 14a thereof with said plate 7 to perform the horizontal facing work of the upper surface.
