PURPOSE:To obtain a pump which can be easily manufactured by allowing a large gap between a part, excluding a cylindrical portion, on the trailing side of a vane engagement section of a rotor to be engaged with a hollow- shaped rotor and a trailing side vane flank of the hollow-shaped rotor. CONSTITUTION:A trailing side part l2 of a vane engagement section 4 of a rotor 1 on the side of a hollow body 8 is designed to be generated with an intersection l2' between a vane periphery 6 of a vane 5 of a rotor 2 to be engaged with the rotor 1 on the side of the hollow body 8 and the vane engagement section 4. A comparatively large gap is allowed between a part l3' excluding a cylindrical surface l4 coaxial with either of the said rotors on the trailing side of the vane engagement section 4 of the rotor 2 to be engaged with the rotor 1 on the side of the hollow body 8 and a vane flank l1' on the trailing side of a vane 5 of the rotor 1 on the side of the hollow body 8. Therefore, lines l1', l2' and l3' need not be accurately formed.
