PURPOSE:To prevent seizure and improve ease of assembly by tightly mating a bearing inner race with a rotary shaft, an outer race with a front housing, both pairs not movable in axial directions, fixing a rotor over rotary shaft, and facing the rotor and a rear housing each other with a soft material inter posed in between. CONSTITUTION:After facing an inner race 51 to a stepped part 11 of a rotary shaft 1, fixing ring 6 is inserted by pressing or using a nut so that the said inner race 51 and the rotary shaft are tightened and fixed from both sides. Then an outer race 52 is press-fit into a front housing 4 so that the outer race 52 faces to a stepped part 41 of the front housing 4 and tightened. A rotor 2 is then fixed over a rotary shaft 1. Further, a soft material 24 is spread or fixed over a side 22 of the rotor 2 on the opposite side of the bearing 5 or over an inner surface of the rear housing 9 to face the side 22. With the above constitution, seizure can be prevented and ease of assembly and volumetric efficiency can be improved because small clearance adjustment is unnecessary.
