PURPOSE:To enhance affinity for a wax contained in a coat layer, by using a saturated polyester resin as a portion or the entire portion of a binder resin used for providing a surface layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer provided on a base comprises a pigment, a filler and a binder resin as main constituents. The binder resin comprises a saturated polyester resin as a portion or the entire portion thereof, for enhancing the affinity for a wax. The polyester resin is a resin obtained by copolymerization of a total of at least three, preferably at least four, compounds selected from oxalic acid, adipic acid, terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, ethylene glycol, butanediol, pentanediol, triethylene glycol, dihydroxyethylbenzene and the like, or a resin obtained by copolymerization of the above compounds while using, as one of the compounds, a compounds having both an acid functional group and an alcohol functional group in one molecule, such as oxybenzoic acid and glycolic acid. More favorable images can be obtained when a saturated polyester resin having a glass transition temperature not higher than the living temperature (about 30 deg.C). |
