PURPOSE:To feed fuel smoothly from fuel tank by opening a control valve arranged in gas discharge pipe communicating between the fuel tank and a canister upon increase of the negative pressure in fuel tank upto predetermined level thereby leading in the atmospheric air. CONSTITUTION:During stoppage of internal-combustion engine 1, fuel in a fuel tank 9 is evaporated by the residual heat of engine or the temperature. The evaporated gas is passed through discharge pipe 16 and a control valve 20 to be adsorbed by active carbon in the canister 17 thus to store the fuel temporarily in the active carbon. Upon enlarging of the opening of throttle valve 15, mixed gas is sucked through an intake path 4 by the sucking force of engine 1 to bring negative pressure in the negative pressure tube 19 thus to suck the fuel adsorbed to the canister 17 together with the mixture gas. When the negative pressure in the fuel tank 9 will exceed over predetermined level, a control valve 20 will open a tube 21 communicated to the atmosphere thus to lead the atmospheric air to the gas discharge tube 16. |
