PURPOSE:To prevent electrically insulating oil from contaminating due to paint by coating a member which contacts the oil in a vessel for shielding a light ray to contain the oil with paint added with benzotriazole. CONSTITUTION:After benzotriazole is added to and mixed with rustproof acrylic paint, the mixture is coated on a rolled steel plate, dried at ambient temperature to manufacture a painted plate. The mixture is coated on a member made of other material such as, for example, of copper, silver or brass to be used in an oil-filled electric device to be used. Thus, the paint added with the benzotriazole is used for the electric device to prevent the insulating oil from contaminating due to the paint.
