The construction material is intended as base for a road surface or to raise the level of a dam or the like. It consists of a mixt. of setting foam concrete, possibly contg. plastic granules, and clay material which remains deformable after the concrete has set and may contain bentonite. The mixture is pref. such that its specific gravity is equal to or lower than that of the load-bearing underground.
