PURPOSE:To enhance the long-period shape stability by disposing a buffer layer made of a fibrous tape which is hardly impregnated with adhesive resin of strand core such as high density aromatic polyamide paper or high density pressed board on the outer periphery of a circular disk, and simultaneously hardening prepreg resin of a binding layer in the steps of impregnating and thermally hardening the resin, thereby preventing the core from cracking. CONSTITUTION:A radial block strand core 21 is bound by a buffer layer 40 made by winding a fibrous tape which is hardly impregnated with adhesive resin of strand core such as high density aromatic polyamide paper or high density pressed board on the outer periphery of a circular disk. Further, a prepreg binding tape layer 51 having a width slightly narrowe than the layer 40 in contact with the outer periphery of the buffer layer and a prepreg thermally shrinkable tape layer 52 are alternately wound to form a binding layer 50. Thus, an assembly of the core 21 is formed. Thermally curable adhesive resin 60 such as liquid epoxy resin is impregnated with the thus formed assembly, the resin 60 and the prepreg resin are hardened by thermally treating to form an integrated radial block core.
