PURPOSE:To take a pressure balance between a pressure adjusting value of an engine and an adjusting pressure valve in a low-quality oil bypass and to enable a flow rate of the oil to be properly balanced by a method wherein a small diameter bypass passage communicating an inlet and an outlet of the pressure-adjusting valve when at least the valve is closed is arranged in the pressure-adjusting valve at a fuel main pipe outlet and the pressure-adjusting valve in a low quality oil bypass. CONSTITUTION:Small diameter bypass passages 38 and 39 (drilled holes) are provided in a piston valve 34 and a valve case 30 in such a way as a specified volume of low- quality oil may always be communicated from the inlet 31 to the outlet 32. When the pressure-adjusting spring 35 for the pressure adjusting valve 13 is not operated, a low quality oil of for example 1/3 of a circulated low quality oil volume is passed through the passage 38, spring chamber 40 and passage 39 into the outlet 32, and the flow rate when the valve is closed is increased. When the pressure-adjusting valve spring 35 comes effective, the piston valve 34 moves rightward against the resilient force of the spring 35, the window hole 41 is started to open, the low quality oil is flowed from the inlet 31 through the window hole 11 into the outlet 32.
