PURPOSE:To determine a line out of which data is to be read and a line on which data is to be recorded automatically and accurately by using a card detector composed of a reflection type photosensor, etc., and rollers which convey inserted measurement slips on the reverse side of an insertion slit for the measurement slips. CONSTITUTION:The card detector 11 sends a detection signal to a CPU1 when a measurement slip T is inserted, and the CPU1 sends a control signal to the driving circuit 20 for a conveyance mechanism to advance the measurement slip T by rollers 12-14. When the front end of the measurement slip T reaches a top detector 17, a detection signal is outputted to the CPU1, which outputs a signal for stopping the conveyance of the measurement slip T to the driving circuit 20, so that the front end of the measurement slip T is conveyed to the position of the detector 17. A read head 15 is the reflection type photosensor, whose output signal is supplied to the CPU1 through a readout circuit 21; and the head is moved on the measurement slip T breadthwise during recording under the control of a print control circuit 22 to record specific data. |
