Prepn. of a mould for composite mineral prods. permitting imitation of e.g. natural prods. comprises: (1) making a first print of the prod. to be imitated with a flexible film prepd. from a paste of silicone resin and liq. catalyst, (2) casting on the obtd. print a paste obtd. from a thermosetting polyurethane polymer, (3) making a second print of the model obtd. from (2), in the form of a rigid and flexible mass forming the mould, by means of a paste of the same type used for the first print and (4) coating the obtd. print with a mould release agent.
