<p>Glyceryl-phenolic ether is heated with diethyl carbonate under reflux in presence of alkaline catalyst such as sodium methoxide or anhydrous potassium carbonate to give a dioxolone. The soln. is then treated with conc. ammonia. Trichloroethylene is added to ppte. a carbamic ester of the ether (I). The ppte. is then filtered off and washed with water followed by drying.</p> |
