<p>The invention is characterized in that the primary detector consists of a reduced-section electrical conducting wire which is arranged completely drawn out, working in traction, secured via one of its tips to the smaller branch of a U-shaped profile made from electrical conducting material and via its other end joined to the movable element of a switch formed by a conducting housing integral with a tubular piece which is in turn associated with a spring which tends to hold the switch open, the wire passing through, without touching, the component portion of the fixed contact of said switch, which portion is formed by the bent part of the second connection terminal. The assembly has a carrying (self- supporting) casing with means for associating it, via threading, with the wall of a tank and a tubular surround with lateral ports and an aperture at its end, acting as protection for the conducting wire and U-shaped support mentioned above. Applicable as minimum-level sensor for oil in vehicles.</p> |
