<p>The disc brake for motor vehicles comprises an actuating piston 1 which acts on a metal plate equipped with a coating of friction material 4 on the face which is opposite the piston 1. Between the metal plate 3 and the actuating piston 1 there is interposed a non-metallic element 9, 10 having anti-vibration properties and properties of resistance to high temperatures; this anti-vibration element is held in contact with a reduced portion of the surface of the metal plate 3 in the contact zone between the plate 3 and the piston 1. <IMAGE></p> |
