<p>The invention relates to compositions for the extraction of metal values, particularly copper, from aqueous solution by solvent extraction. The composition comprises a strong 2-hydroxy-5-alkylbenzaldoxime extractant and a modifier which is a C10-C30 highly branched aliphatic ester or alcohol. The new modifiers overcome the disadvantages with entrainment and "crud" formation. </p> |
