<p>The laminate, for use in the furniture industry, is made by (a) preparing a decorative paper of around 100 g/sq.m. wt., impregnated with melamine-formaldehyde resin; (b) preparing a protective paper of around 180 g/sq.m. as barrier layer, impregnated with a phenol-aldehyde resin; (c) forming cores from paper of around 180 g/sq.m. Impregnated a phenol-aldehyde resin and a heat-stable bonding agent; and (d) preparing the sheets which have to be interposed between each two consecutive cores, and which are impregnated with a thermoplastic bonding agent.</p> |
