PURPOSE:To stabilize a dye image by forming a layer contg. a specified compd. in at least one of layers. CONSTITUTION:At least one of layers for constituting a silver halide photographic sensitive material, such as a surface protective layer, silver halide emulsion layers, interlayers, an undercoat, an antihalation layer, or other subsidiary layers, preferably, a silver halide emulsion layer, most preferably, the silver halide emulsion layer contg. a magenta coupler, contains one of compds. represented by the formula shown on the right, preferably, in an amt. of 0.1-4mol per mol of said magenta coupler, thus permitting stability of a photographic image to be extremely enhanced, and discoloration and fading due to light, and yellow staining at the noncolor-formed parts due to light, heat, and humidity to be prevented satisfactorily. |
