PURPOSE:To use a single sound recording medium with its simplified handling by sound recording simultaneously the different types of contents of both sound and control signals to the single sound recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The sound recording is carried out only in a general sound recording area A and the sounds higher than 17kHz are cut automatically. While the pulse signals P1(18kHz) and P2(21kHz) of two systems are sound recorded in a control signal sound recording area B for control of the working of a device to be controlled such as a display device, etc. performed in relation to sounds. The pulse signal P1 exists in an audible area and is therefore turned into the noise in a reproduction mode. This noise, however, can be almost neglected. While the signal P2 exists in a non-audible area and produces no noise virtually. thus these two signals P1 and P2 function to prevent the malfunctions of the device to be controlled.
