PURPOSE:To allow a form to be fed timely with no particular control device necessitated by providing a play between an overlap prevention roller and a drive power source so as to allow the overlap prevention roller to be delayed in starting after the overlap prevention process has been taken. CONSTITUTION:A pin 14 of a shaft 21 is fitted into a groove 151 of a collar 15 which is rotated as required. Both the shaft 21 and the collar 15 is rotated relatively by a play angle of rotation, which is equivalent to the rotation of the outer circumference of a roller 2 along the distance between A and B. The roller 2 continues rotating while it is driven until the rear end of a form P1 leaves the roller 2, and an over-running clutch 13 allows both the shaft 21 and the collar 15 to rotate within a gear 12 which is suspended to rotate allowing the pin 14 to strike the end of the rotating side of the groove 151. Next, when the second form P2 is fed as a result of the rotation of a paper feed roller 1, the collar 15 rotates by the angle of play allowing the other end of the groove 151 to be struck against the pin 14. This causes the shaft 21 to start rotating, but does not permit the roller 2 to start feeding the form before the forward end of the form at a point B arrives at a point A. Thus the feeding operation by the roller 2 is well timed to be identical.
