This clamp apparatus moves up and down, and back and forth. This movement prevents the deformation of the workpiece and the damage of a clamp device. The upper jaw(57) is assembled with the lower jaw of a clamp by a pin. A back and forth driving device(51) is established to move the clamp. A control device controls the back and forth driving device. This controler is made with a fluid cylinder. A centering apparatus is assembled on the frame to send back the back and forth driving device(5) to the normal position.
