FLOPPY DISK STORAGE CONTROLLER

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the storing efficiency of floppy disks by arraying zigzag the floppy disk groups stored in parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:A level difference is produced between the projected edge of a floppy disk F1 stored in the 1st floppy disk storage space S1 and the projected edge of a floppy disk F2 stored in the 2nd floppy disk storage space S2. Here the floppy disk groups stored in parallel are arrayed zigzag. Thus the projected edge of the disk F1 and the projected edge of the disk F2 can be held with no disturbance given from both adjacent 2nd floppy disks and 1st floppy disks respectively. As a result, both disks F1 and F2 can be arrayed with a sufficiently small pitch. This improves greatly the storing efficiency of floppy disks.
