PURPOSE:To maintain and to measure appropriate resolution, and pressure to be measured in a wide range, by bringing the output of a sensor circuit to a logarithmic compression, and thereafter, amplifying and outputting it. CONSTITUTION:A sensor circuit 16 outputs a voltage corresponding to the variation of a resistance value of gauge resistances 1-4. This voltage is compressed by a logarithmic compressing circuit 17, amplified by an amplifier 23, and supplied to an output terminal 10. In such a case, when an output voltage of the circuit 16 is small, its compressibility is comparatively small, and accordingly, when the pressure to be measured is small, the detecting output of high resolution is obtained in a terminal 10. On the other hand, when the output voltage of the circuit 16 is large, the compressibility of the circuit 17 becomes large, and accordingly, the detecting output of the terminal does not become excessive, and the detecting output of an appropriate magnitude can be obtained. |
