PURPOSE:To double the storing efficiency of floppy disks by providing a front floppy disk storing shelf in opposition to an inside floppy disk storing shelf. CONSTITUTION:A storing part 1A' of each stage of a front floppy disk storing shelf 1' has the same structure as a storing part 1A of each stage of an inside floppy disk storing shelf 1A. A traverser 19 can move freely along a path U between both shelves 1 and 1', and a floppy disk driver 21 is set at a fixed position in a casing 5, i.e., at the edge part of the lowest part 1A of the shelf 1. In such a way, the storing efficiency of floppy disks is doubled as compared with a conventional case.
