PURPOSE:To control feeding of sensitive material when some abnormality is detected, by furnishing sensors to detect the operation condition of an automatic developing device. CONSTITUTION:Floating switches FSD, FSF, or FSW is ON, when the developing solution, fixing solution, or washing water reaches a specific amount respectively. Output of each sensor is input to CPU11 of an automatic developing device, and when any abnormal value is found in the abnormality detection, a signal of abnormality is generated. The signal of abnormality is input through a photocoupler 12 to CPU13 for feeding control, where a motor stop signal is produced to stop the feeding motor M2. When no abnormality is detected for all detecting items, the signal of abnormality is not output, and the feeding motor M2 operates normally to feed the sensitive material to the automatic developing device, and the process is continued.
