<p>The invention relates to a method of producing soft polyurethane foam embossed parts provided at least partly with a textile covering. For producing such an embossed part, in which the connection between the foam and the textile is intended to be particularly good, while achieving a softness of the finished, covered embossed part that can be adjusted as desired, the procedure followed is that firstly a cut- to-size piece, of essentially the desired contour - in the plane normal to the later embossing direction - is prepared from a sheet of soft polyurethane foam, is at least partly covered with the textile covering after applying an adhesive agent, is permanently deformed to different degrees locally by embossing under the effect of pressure and temperature, is firmly connected to the textile covering in such a way that it hugs the differing permanent deformation and, if appropriate, is separated from overhanging residual parts of textile covering. <IMAGE></p> |
