PURPOSE:To reduce the residual stress positively by arranging a pair of varnish rollers journaled rotatably while adjustably of relative positional relation and a pair of vertical supporting rollers journaled rotatably while arranging both rollers in series in advancing direction of strip board. CONSTITUTION:A pair of metal varnish rollers 1 are journaled to a shaft 3 to be fixed while adjusting relative positional relation. While metal supporting rollers 2 are journaled rotatably to the shafts 5, 6. The strip board 7 slitted through a slitter will pass between the varnish rollers 1 then through the supporting rollers 2. Here, the cutting edge sections at the opposite side of the strip board 7 are pressed against the varnish roller 4 to be varnished from the burr 9 side to the opposite side 10. The strength of varnishing can be adjusted through pushing strength of the strip board 7 against the pressing face 4. When varnishing continuously from the burr 9 side to the opposite side 10 in such a manner, deformation stress to be applied downward at the opposite sides of the strip board 7 is reduced. |
