GRINDING WHEEL TRUING METHOD

PURPOSE:To improve the grinding performance by employing such diamond wheel where diamond grains of large and small grain sizes are applied onto the circumferential face while splitting into two thereby forming the surface of hard abrasive grain into large crushed face thus lowering the grinding resistance. CONSTITUTION:Diamond grain groups 11a, 12a of large and small gain size are adhered with uniform distribution density onto the cylindrical outercircumference while splitting laterally into two then a diamond wheel 10 formed with same diameter in axial direction of rotation is cutting fed by predetermined amount against the grinding wheel 2 then traversed to perform truing of hard abrasive grain 5b of grinding wheel 2 only through the diamond grain group 11a of large grain size thus to form the surface of hard grain abrasive grain 5b into large crushed face 14a. Then the diamond wheel 10 is reversely traversed with smaller cutting thus to shape the projected tip of large crushed face only through the diamond grain group 12a of small grain size.
