PURPOSE:To suppress a declination of sensitivity, and also to reduce the generation rate of a noise component by performing a dyeing processing to a track detecting solid body made of a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:As for a dyestuff used for this dyeing processing, a disperse dye used for dyeing of a synthetic resin is desirable. With respect to a track detecting solid body to which a neutron beam has been irradiated, first of all, a dyeing processing 1 is executed by a suitable dye liquor temperature and dyeing time. Subsequently, an overflow washing 2 by city water is executed suitably. Next, etching 3 is executed by a suitable liquid temperature and processing time. Also, an overflow washing 4 by the city water is executed suitably, and an action of a natural drying 5 is performed. After the drying 5, the number of etched pits is measured by a suitable optical device. In this way, the declination of the sensitivity is suppressed to the utmost, and also the generation rate of a noise component can be reduced.
