PURPOSE:To enable a plurality of works to be machined at a time, by providing plural machining main spindle units, having a machining main spindle, while tool exchangers rotating an arm, having a tool chuck in both end parts, corresponding to a number of the machining main spindle units. CONSTITUTION:A machine tool 10 contains two sets of multi spindle exchange type machine tool mechanisms 12A, 12B, and these mechanisms 12A, 12B, being mutually opposed, are mounted onto a common bed 14. Further these multi spindle exchange type machine tool mechanisms 12A, 12B provide in their mutually separating intermediate part a jig base 16, and a jig pallet 18, mounted onto said jig base 16, mounts works 20a-20f to be successively conveyed by a conveyer or the like. The multi spindle exchange type machine tool mechanisms 12A, 12B are constituted respectively of machining main spindle units 22A, 22B, moving tables 24A, 24B, tool exchangers 26A, 26B and tool suppliers 28A, 28B. |
