Articulated arm assembly intended for lifting-truck equipment and for enabling a load to be lifted and advanced on forks which are kept horizontal by a hydraulic compensation system. The narrow assembly can be mounted easily in the axis of the supporting machine. The supporting arm 6 and the advancing jack 4 may be mounted easily via the support 9 onto the front of the machine. <IMAGE>
