PURPOSE:To make it possible to eliminate the welding between the outer and inner members of a pillar, by bearing a supporting rigidity required in a pillar for an overhead guard with the outer member of the pillar. CONSTITUTION:A rear pillar 3A supporting a head guard 3A is composed of an outer member 11 and an inner member 12. An upper bracket 13, a middle bracket 14 and a lower bracket 15 are secured to the outer member 11 in the mentioned order. A head guard is fitted in a hole 13 in the bracket 15. Further, the outer member 11 is secured to a vehicle body frame 1 through a hole 23 in the bracket 15. Moreover holes 21, 26 for attaching the inner member are formed in the brackets 13, 15, and the inner member 12 is secured to brackets 21, 26 and the middle bracket 14 by means of bolts 36. |
