PURPOSE:To repair the damaged part of the refractories in a blast furnace with good workability, stably, by spraying castable refractories from spray nozzles attached freely liftable via a nozzle lifting device to the body of a repairing device detained to the top end of a swiveling chute. CONSTITUTION:The body 22 of the repairing device is fixed and detained, by means of a hook 24 for attaching, to a stiffener 18 for preventing the deformation of the swiveling chute 8A through a manhole 38 is the top part of a bell-less blast furnace. The spray nozzles 28 are further freely liftably attached via the nozzle lifting device 26 to the body 22 and a water hose 32, castable refractory hose 34 and hose 36 for driving the nozzle lifting device, etc., inserted through a vertical chute 30 into the furnace are connected thereto to constitute the device fore repairing the inside wall. The castable refractories are sprayed together with water from the above-mentioned nozzles 28 and at the same time the chute 8A is adequately swiveled and changed in angle by a driving device 20 and the nozzles 28 are moved upward and downward, by which the damaged part 16 of the inside wall refractories 14 is stably and exactly repaired.
