PURPOSE:To obtain the splash-preventing device having ease of maintenance by providing a top cover which forms a guide passage for high-speed air flow between a top cover and a bottom dish and also by installing a meshy partition plate below a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:In the splash-preventing device for the scattered particles of a coating agent in a rotary-type close contact device, etc., the guide passage for high-speed air flow is formed between the rotary table 16 placed on the central part of the bottom dish 19 and the top cover 18, and the high-speed air flow which flows through the guide passage for high-speed air flow from the higher part than the body to be rotated to the under part is generated by a rotary vane 12. The meshy partition plate 20 is also provided in the guide passage for high-speed air flow, whose guide passage is placed below the level of the body to be rotated. In such a manner, the particles of the coating agent scatter toward the outer periphery, however, said particles receive the strong air resistance and flow from the upper part to the lower part in the guide passage without being splashed. The scattered particles flowing downward pass through a wire net 20 and then discharged.
