<p>PURPOSE:To recover In in a short process with a good yield, by making intermediate in zinc, cadmium refining to slurry state, controlling the slurry to a specified pH, dissolving the obtd. ppt. into hydrochloric acid to control it to a specified pH, adding a specified quantity of zinc-Cd alloy powder thereto and stirring them. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate contg. In generated secondarily in zinc, Cd refining process is made to slurry state by a small quantity of water, hydrochloric acid is added thereto while stirring them to maintain <=1.2pH, and these are stirred for >=1hr after completing the reaction and laid as it is. Next, formed ppt. is separated, dissolved into hydrochloric acid, then alkali is added to control the soln. to 0.5-1.2pH. To the aq. soln. zinc-Cd alloy powder or high purity zinc powder of 0.9-1.1 equivalent against contained In is added, cementation is carried out, then these are laid gently to precipitate In and supernatant liquid are separated. In this way, In is recovered simply with a good yield from intermediates.</p> |
