PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of a caterpillar band by rolling a lengthy plate-like raw material into a V-shape, press-molding fitting seats of caterpillar band links, then cutting it in a predetermined size. CONSTITUTION:A lengthy plate-like raw material 1 is rolled into a near V-shape with a hole rolling pressure roller. The raw material 1 rolled into a V-shape is sent to a press process, where fitting seats 1a of a caterpillar band links are press-molded. A lengthy track shoe A formed with fitting seats 1a on the raw material 1 is thus formed. Then, a caterpillar band is formed by cutting it in a predetermined length with a cutter. |
