The invention relates to a device for drawing parallel or inclined lines on a portable drawing board. It consists of a cursor 1 through which a tube 2 passes. On its rear face, two holes 3 leading to the tube 2 are internally provided with two steel balls 4, a spring 5 and an adjusting screw 6. A nylon screw 7 enables the cursor 1 to be locked to the tube 2. The top face of the cursor 1 possesses a centring stud 8 and a joining screw 9 for holding a rule 10 having a slot 11 and able to be inclined and locked at any chosen angle by means of the protractor 12 and able to rotate through 180 DEG relative to the drawing board.
