PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a creep when an engine is in operation of not only normal idling but also high speed idling, by simultaneously engaging a plurality of friction engagement elements and braking a driving system. CONSTITUTION:Under a condition that a transmission is switched to a range D, a control device, connecting imports 65b, 65c with an output 90a while blocking a port 90b, supplies a shift control oil pressure Ps from an oil path 65 to a forward running clutch 16. Under this condition, if a vehicle is in stopping, the device, turning on a solenoid valve 57 to block its drain on the basis of a signal from a control part C, supplies an oil pressure Pc to an oil path 79. In this way, pressure oil is supplied to a reversing brake 15. Thus the device holds the transmission 1 in a braking condition by connecting two elements of the clutch and the brake to be fixed. |
