PURPOSE:To carry out the printing of uniform density to any kind of paper, by changing heating time according to the kind of paper. CONSTITUTION:A spring 9 presses a platen 11 via a pressure sensor 10 and the pressure applied on the platen 11 according to the thickness of heat-sensitive paper 7 is detected with the pressure sensor 10. A control circuit 3 reads the signal from a pressure detection circuit 1, determining whether the heat-sensitive paper 7 is a double-sheet duplicating paper or a roll paper, further, reading the temperature information from a temperature circuit 2, too, obtaining the heating time capable of obtaining the printing of suitable density corresponding to the kind of used heat-sensitive paper 7 and the ambient temperature in accordance with the program preliminarily memorized, and outputs control signal to a heating circuit 5 and a motor driving circuit 6 on the basis of this heating time. |
