摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent uneven irradiation when an irradiation angle is set on a telescopic side and decline of a light quantity when the irradiation angle is set on a wide angle side, by changing the scattering property of a flashing device. CONSTITUTION:A sliding mold 6 holds a condenser lens 4 and slides in the direction of a light emitting optical axis and a liquid crystal plat 17 scatters light emitted from a light emitting section. When the irradiation angle of a flashing device is to be made variable, the sliding mold 6 is moved in accordance with the focal length of a photographing lens. Then an irradiation angle corresponding to the photographing lens can be obtained. Moreover, such a constitution that a switch is turned on under a condition where the sliding mold is the most pulled out (irradiation angle is set on the telescopic side) is realized and the characteristic of the liquid crystal plate 7 provided in front of the light emitting section is changed and its scattering property is intensified. Therefore, uneven light emission and irradiation produced on the telescopic side can be prevented and, at the same time, the scattering property of the liquid crystal plate 7 is weakened and decline of the emitting light quantity can be prevented, since the switch is turned off on a wide angle side.
