A hand-held machine tool (1) with an electric motor drive is proposed, which has a power connection (10/11) for additional apparatuses (3) which can be electrically operated. When mains power is used, the mains voltage which is fed in is passed via an electrical component (13) to the additional apparatus connection (10) and in the process is reduced to a safe, low protective voltage of less than 42 V. In this way, use of the hand-held machine tool (1) with additional apparatuses (3) is simplified. The additional apparatuses (3) can be of less costly design and nevertheless satisfy all the safety regulations. <IMAGE>
