PURPOSE:To provide smooth inserting and taking out of a recording medium even if the center is slipped off by separating hand and a solenoid shaft on a holder and holding a medium by the hand with the function of a spring, and releasing by the function of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:The holder part of an accessor mechanism is constituted by the hand 11, the solenoid 12, and the spring 18. The spring 18 is provided to the hand 11 so that it can hold the medium 1. The cone part at the tip of the solenoid shaft 19 contacts the conical inner side of the hand 11 to automatically execute centering. When holding the medium 1, the solenoid 12 is released, and the force by the spring 18 is used to hold. To release the holder, the solenoid is actuated. Accordingly, when carrying the medium 1 as holding it, the medium can move freely to the right-and-left direction because the solenoid shaft is separated. As a result, the medium 1 can be smoothly taken out or inserted even when the centers of the storing chamber and the holder part are slipped off.
