PURPOSE:To keep a throttle valve shaft from being subjected to moment of rotation by providing a partition wall disposed adjacent to a throttle valve shaft and along the throttle valve shaft, which is extended to the inlet side. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve shaft 14 is pierced through a fluid passage 12 formed on a main body 10 substantially in direction of crossing the central axis. A circular valve plate 16 is fixed to a throttle valve shaft 14, with one end surface of the disc plate 16 confronting with the inlet side 18, and with the other end surface thereof confronting with the outlet side 20. A partition wall 22 is disposed substantially just above the throttle valve shaft 14 in such a manner as to divide a fluid passage 12 along the throttle valve shaft 14. In this arrangement, deflecting flow of a fluid is reduced at the boundary of the throttle valve shaft 14, so that the throttle valve shaft is kept from being subjected to the moment of rotation. |
