PURPOSE:To enhance color reproductivity and image storage stability and to improve storage stability of a raw photosensitive material by incorporating at least one of specified magenta couplers and a silver chlorobromide emulsion layer in at least one of silver halide emulsion layers, and a specified compd. in at least one of photographic constituent layers. CONSTITUTION:At least one of silver halide emulsion layers incorporates at least one of magenta couplers represented by formula [I], for example, by the solid dispersion method or latex dispersion method,and a silver chlorobromide emulsion layer, and at least one of photographic constituent layers contains the compd. represented by formula [II], and in formulae [I] and [II], Z is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form an optionally substd. N-contg. hetero ring; X is H or a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; R is H or a substituent; and Zo is a residue of heterocyclic group. |
